Some of the projects we have been fortunate to be involved with include major installs at the various plant sites around Fort McMurray. We have been able to provide Creative Door systems for corporations such as Syncrude Canada (Aurora), Suncor (both main plant and Firebag), Petro-Canada and Shell Canada (Albian Sands).
As the size of the mining equipment utilized at the plant sites increases, so too do the doors in the maintenance and service facilities. 40' X 30' doors are common here in Fort McMurray as the trucks used in the mines are big enough to carry up to 500 tons of oilsands. This means that we service and install much larger and more complex doors / door systems. Included in these door systems are special applications such as the world's largest rubber doors.
Our clients rely on moving equipment and materials through their door openings on a regular (MUST DO) basis. Improperly maintained equipment can break down at the most inopportune times. This can be costly to repair and potentially even shut down production completely. For this reason, we encourage our clients to utilize a scheduled preventative maintenance program in order to keep their door systems in safe and reliable working order. Use a scale to gauge the cost of preventative maintenance schedules against the cost of down time or lost production to your business.
All of our installers and service personnel are certified by the Canadian Door Institute. This ensures that our staff have proper training and always keep up with the changing times in the industry.
