Won-Door FireGuard Moveable Fire Wall

Won-Door’s FireGuard Moveable Fire Wall (MFW) is the solution you’re looking for. The MFW is U.L. certified, meeting all the criteria required by ANSI/UL263 (ASTM E119) for fire barriers in buildings. Building codes often restrict the size of openings in fire barriers, but the Won-Door MFW has passed rigorous tests that allow it to have opening sizes that are not constrained in size. This makes it useful in a wide range of applications.

Common applications for the MFW include horizontal exits between buildings, control areas, exit passageways, atriums, shaft enclosures, and more.

Fire Resistance – Available in one- and two-hour fire-resistance ratings
Leadpost – Available in narrow lead post configuration only (pocket cover door provided by others)

- Straight opening MFWs up to 40’ wide and 15’ high

Options

Key Switch – A key switch can replace the CCOM switch, restricting access to only authorized users.
Exit Device – An exit device can allow egress while the mobile fire wall is in normal operating mode or in fire alarm mode (this requires AHJ approval)
Status Display – A wall-mounted LCD display provides status updates on the door, including any fault conditions.
Optical Obstruction Detectors – Sensors are used to alert occupants if the door track becomes blocked by any object that could hinder operation (available for straight track walls only).
