Photo Optics

Photoelectric sensors use an invisible beam of light to detect the presence of a person or object. A unit on one side of the open door emits the invisible beam and a receiving unit on the other side of the opening detects it. If the light is interrupted or blocked, a signal is sent to stop or reverse the motor of your garage door or gate.

Monitored Light Curtains

Ideal for commercial and industrial doors, light curtains use photoelectric sensors to emit multiple invisible beams of light. When interrupted, a signal is sent to the motor of your garage door to reverse.

Sensing Edges

Sensing edges are touch-sensitive switch that signals the motor of a garage door or gate to start, stop or reverse. Miller Edge also offers non-contact infrared sensing edges that sense obstructions prior to contact.
