Standard Features

The GCL-GT heavy-duty gear head trolley operator is designed for standard lift sectional doors that require up to 60-cycles per hour. The GCL-T standard-duty trolley operator is designed for applications that require up to 30-cycles per hour.

Both commercial operators have advanced technology and robust mechanical designs that set a new standard for productivity. They’re UL325-2010 approved and come equipped with the following standard features:

• EZ Limit® electro-mechanical technology sets limits that stay synchronized even during a power outage
• MultiVolt® voltage technology with the ability to pick the right voltage for the job site
• A max-run timer that automatically adjusts to the door’s up and down runtime
• A convenient 16-character LCD display with an intuitive setup menu that provides status and troubleshooting assistance
• An advanced radio receiver that limits interface and allows you to individually add and delete up to 50 Intellicode® transmitters directly from the display
• A two-year, 20,000-cycle warranty
• A drawbar disconnect via pull cord for manual operation

The GLC-T has a TensiBelt® auto tensioning poly-V J-belt primary drive, while the GLC-GT has a heavy-duty worm gear running in an oil bath. Both have a chain and sprocket reduction secondary drive.

Furthermore, both operators are pre-wired to accept monitored entrapment devices, such as photo eyes, single or three-button control stations, and external interlock switches. The GCL-GT and GCL-T both have an adjustable clutch to help protect against door and operator damage, precision radial ball bearings throughout the operator powertrain and a two-inch heavy-gauge rail system with a roll-formed angle and nylon chain guides.

Additional Options

The GCL-GT and GCL-T can also be equipped with the following options:

• Timer to close module. Timed close set via the LCD display from two seconds up to five minutes. Includes pre-close warning contacts, timer hold input, auxiliary open input, normally closed safety input, and monitored edge input.
  
  
• Auxiliary output module. Provides relay contacts at the open, close, and mid-stop limits. Contacts for five-minute lamp, and ADA contacts set via LCD display to warn during opening, closing, or both.
  
  
• Intellicode® transmitters. Available in single- up to four-button or open/close/stop models.
  
  
• Environmental modifications. TENV and TEFC motors and/or NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X are available to be ordered from the factory. These enclosures protect against water spray and corrosion.
